P. Tracy Currie, CEO and Co-Founder
Tracy Currie is a man driven to get results. He has brokered numerous deals, created new product lines, and turned around more than one company. Some of the world’s largest companies have turned to Tracy when they are considering IT strategy, sourcing, data center services, and investment advisory or M & A support.

Capto was created from Tracy’s vision to dramatically improve the operating and economic effectiveness of a company’s IT initiatives. He spearheaded the creation of Capto’s proprietary SYNAPTIC methodology and tools that unlock innovation and accelerate high-impact results. One example of his using this methodology in action is during his time as Senior Vice President of Tanning Technology Corporation, where he served as part of Tanning’s executive team and proved integral in taking the company from a small niche domestic consulting firm with 30 employees and $10M in revenue to a leading international systems integration company with over 400 employees, revenues in excess of $120M, and an IPO valuing the firm in excess of $1B in just four years.

Tracy has initiated, rescued, and supervised numerous IT initiatives with an emphasis on large, complex, international engagements with IT departments, IT service providers, and prominent private equity firms. His roster of clients includes DIRECTV, McKesson, T-Mobile, NTT Docomo, Time Warner Cable, Virgin, Toyota, The Hartford, Global Crossing, FedEx, Hawaiian Telcom, Welsch Carson Anderson and Stowe, TPG, Altman Vilandrie and Company, Peak 10, Maersk Lines, BskyB, Ameritech, and United Airlines. He has considerable experience with all steps of the IT lifecycle, from discovery, business case, and vendor selection, through to transition, rescue, and in-sourcing.

Nick Vennaro, Co-Founder
Nick Vennaro is a technologically attuned thought leader with an absolute focus on business outcomes for his clients. He has worked in numerous countries, across a multitude of software systems, and in industries where reliance on technology is a make-or-break business attribute. He’s turned outdated, patchwork IT infrastructure and workarounds into technically sound, high-performing platforms. Nick is a classic serial entrepreneur, having created, led, and sold numerous businesses in his career.

In his extensive, 20-year career in healthcare spanning insurance, hospital management, home care, medical practice management, federal government, and medical content delivery, Nick has pretty much seen, fixed, built, and anticipated it all. Nick has done pioneering work for the federal government’s health care effort, which is one of the largest service-oriented architecture (SOA) based systems in the country. Nick has led numerous enterprise-scale initiatives for small companies to Fortune 500s such as Cigna Health Plans, including business process reengineering efforts, new business venture analysis, provider-credentialing systems, and Salesforce.com integration.

In all of his spare time along the way, Nick has also held leadership positions in retail, transportation and logistics, and financial services. He has extensive experience in offshore development, data warehousing, system architecture, and project and business turnarounds.

Laurie Priddy is a telecommunications technology and sales operations expert extraordinaire. She may not tell you, but we like to point out that she is considered one of the most distinguished business technology executives in media and telecommunications. She specializes in global data centers, including all aspects related to the construction of new centers. John Nielsen, Principal
John Nielsen is the go-to guy when the complexities of the opportunities before you need a clear vision. When IT and global shipping logistics meet, an analytic mind that can see the clear pathway through the clutter is key. John brings a global perspective steeped in 25 years of untangling and reorganizing some of the world’s largest companies’ IT systems. Case in point: John led the Maersk Line’s streamLINE IT strategy project and built their logistics IT organization from the ground up—or, more appropriately, from stem to stern.

There’s an internal debate on whether John has worked in more countries than he has credentials. His practical experience has been supplemented with international senior management courses in the UK and US, including Lean/Six Sigma training, Columbia University’s Senior Executive Program, London Business School’s Accelerated Development Programme, and the A.P. Moller Shipping School. If that’s not enough, he is multilingual; he’s fluent in Danish and English, understands Swedish and Norwegian, and has a basic knowledge of German, French, and Malaysian.

Michael Landesman, Principal
Michael Landesman is our all-things data center man. He’s a leading expert in technology and data center operations working with startups to Fortune 500 companies. In fact, his client list reads like the who’s who of media and telecom companies: Exodus Communications, Savvis, Rackspace Managed Hosting, Nirvanix, Rogers Communications, Expedia, Microsoft, Technicolor, (big breath) Hawaiian Telecom, Welsch Carson Anderson & Stowe, and Sony Pictures Entertainment/Imageworks…to name a few.

The need for a one million square foot raised floor data center doesn’t strike even a glimmer of panic in Michael. He’s done it. For more than thirty years, Michael has headed technology operations in the US and Canada in multiple industries including entertainment, automotive, healthcare, and life insurance. And he's led numerous initiatives like collocation, managed hosting and cloud storage.

Still need more? Michael has overseen the design, construction and Uptime certification of multiple Tier III data centers and managed over one million square feet of IT space reaching PUE levels below 1.3.
